How to change password on Enterprise Server ?

We have a unique situation and was wondering if anyone has tackled this -

We run AS/400 as our enterprise server, every JDE-OW Xe user has a corresponding proxy AS/400 user. We change passwords every 30 days on JDE-OW side but never on the AS/400 side as there is no interface or UBE or application that can warn JDE-OW users to change passwords on the AS/400 every 30 days as on JDE-OW side. Is it possible to change? Any suggestions.

Unless the users are actually logging into a session on the AS/400, I would set the proxy user accounts to *signoff, with *Nomax for the password. If you change the password for the account on the 400, you will also have to change it in the P98owsec application to keep them in synch, and I don't think you want your users going there. If your users need the interactive session, I would give them a separate ID for that purpose only.

I couldn't have said it better myself. That is exacly the way we have set up our system.
