SO lines getting lost after split

Has anyone had any issues with sales order lines getting lost after being split? We access JDE via a Citrix connection to an AS400 that is sitting 10,000 miles away. Let me explain the two issues that we are having.

Issue #1: We have a custom application for putting parts on a pallet in JDE. When we ship less than the order quantity on a pallet, our custom app splits the line and writes the balance back to F4211. What we are seeing is that (very randomly) the balance lines do not get written back to F4211... meaning they just "disappeared".

Issue #2: The second issue is happening with a standard JDE object and with blanket orders. When we make a release off a blanket, after shipment confirmation (std JDE) the balance lines in the blanket get changed to 560/999.

If anybody who can shed light on these two issues, it will be highly appreciated.

We had something similar on Citrix, with the odd sales order line getting lost when split. I think the issue went away when we went to SP22_T1. You do not say what your configuration is so this may or may not help!
