SP23 and new Encryption for Users

We a getting ready to start looking at SP23.

Do you need to apply any additional ESUs for the new
encryption for passwords or will applying SP23 B1 take care of it (along with the special instructions in the SP)?

Hello,

I think you still need to apply the ESU containing the SAR listed in the SP23 install guide. This is necessary because Service Packs will not touch any of the applications specs. By installing the ESU you will ensure that the application P98OWSEC will be in sync with the new encryption provided by SP23 foundation.
