problem with check/out and get

On our ERP9 system, we have a problem with checkOut/GEt. When I submit some report,or aplication..etc. to Get or CheckOut almost system is going to freeze or it takes several minutes to do it correct. In logs I can not see nothing strange. Is there any limitation on aplication ot database server ? (we are using MS SQL 2000 SP3a)..platform Intel..thank you

This may happen on slower desktops.

OW seems to be particularly sensitive to the local disk performance (ie: laptops) and it positively can't stand Intel Celeron CPU's.

JDE always recommended using the fastest machines for development...
