JAS install using Websphere 5.0

Greeting all,

I'm conducting an install of JAS on a Windows 2000 SP4 server. I've installed the following:

Websphere 5.0
Fixpack 2
CUM3

The snoop test works fine but trying to start the JAS instance (port 81), I continue to get "no configuration defined for server AS_JS_81_xxxxxxxxxx " in the logs.

In searching KG, I've found only one call. The fix was updating the plug-in. I've tried that but no help.

Any suggestions ?

Jay,

Not sure you found the resolution to this issue, but I suspect it was due to case. I found that the web server start command is case sensitive. Typing the name of the Websphere server in CAPS worked for me.
