Commit failed in P42117

Hi List,

While Releasing Backorders thrrough P42117 we are getting Commit Failure Errors. GSS asked to apply ESU JE6002 but even after that the error still persists.
Just prior to the commit failure error Log says there is a Insert fail on F4942.
If anyone has encountered this sort problem please let me know.

does the table exist? Are there any other errors listed in the JDE.log?

F49 is the Load and Delivery system. Are you using this? Are there processing options to turn this update off?

Thankx for your reply.
Here is the sequence of steps with which we can
replicate the error.
1. The user was making a Sale Order entry in the
PD7334 Environment
through WTS Client. The Sale Order was of type-SW.
2. There was a backorder quantity (2) for a
particular Item and the
Status of the Line was 900-535 as set in the Order
activity rules.
3. The user went to Release the backorder in "work
with backorder
application-P42117" and there in he tried to release
one quantity
out of the two in the Sale order Line.
4. No problem was encountered for this operation.
Then the user tried
to verify in the P42117 by clicking Find button.
5. The Quantity now in the Backorder was 1 and 1 was
successfully
released.
6. Then the user opened the Pick Request
Application. So when he
clicked on the Manual Planner, this error popped up.
The user
clicked on the error message window.
7. Now, The user for his verification Purposes again
went to P42117
Application to check for the Backorder quantity in the
sale order
Line. He found that the Backorder Quantity Now was 2.

In logs there is no other error as such except F4942
Insert Failure and Commit Failure Error next to it.
