P9860 stop working

I´ve ever used P9860 instead of OMW to make some quick customizations. To open that, I´ve disabled the first line of it.
But I am installing Update 7 and after that, This function has lost its funcionality to do that.
I cannot make a check in/out for my aplications even if I disable that first line.
But the check in/out is possible for UBEs and BSVW.
Anyone has a trick to open that?

Thank You Patty, but these section inside my jde.ini didn´t helped me. The check in/out is not present when selecting and application.
