Update Installation

Hi List,
We are on Update 4 now and are moving to Update 7. Our client full package which we have installed on our clients is PD7333FUL. My question is; when we go to Update 7, can I just rebuild the PD7333FUL package and schedule it to be installed as normal client update package or should I reinstall the pacakge on all the clients. Or should I build a client update package and shhedule it to be installed as a normal client update package as we do in ESUs.

You have to build a new full client-server package and deploy it anywhere.
Don't use update packages for OneWorld Xe Updates such as U7.

Hi,

It would be better to create a new full client/server package after applying Update 7. This will need to be deployed to all clients and Enterprise Server.

Ok, can I use the Package Deployment program - P9631 to install the newy built client package to clients? Or should I go to each PC and install it from deployment server as we did for the first time?
