733218 Tue Aug 23 04:04:48 2011 ipcpub.c3672

API ipcSawZombieProcV1 : process 733218 set to Zombie in entry 128

Can somebody comment on whether this is bcoz of SP24 upgrade

We're on SP24 and we don't routinely get zombies. In fact they're much rarer post sp24 and the improved h/w that went with it.

Welcome to JDEList. First, please read the posts at the top of the forum about how to ask questions the right way. You do not provide any system or version information which can be crucial in answering a question. Many people will not help if they do not know your system. See below my name for an example.

Yes, zombies can be a result of installing SP24. It may not be a problem with SP24 itself. We ran into this when we moved to SP24. A third party software we used that connects to JDE caused zombies because the version of their software was old. Once we installed their new system things are fine.

Please tell us what process is causing the zombie problem.

Hi Jeremy
Here we have interface with Third party web applications which are interfaced through Biztalk, we can see Thinnet failure in the JDE logs, Qkernel Zombies are also found

Thanks
