E9.1 Zero QTY on a SO or PO

Good Morning All,

What happens if I tried to pass a master BSFN (sales or purch) a zero for quantity? This does not include Text Lines. This would be for a standard item.

I’ve tried this both from entering a 0 in qty from the P4310 and doing a row exit and passing a 0 to a master BSFN outside of the P4310.

What are your results?

Hello,

I'm working with a 3rd party company that doesn't fully understand JDE. They want to pass 0 for quantity to our MBSFN's. These would be standard inventory items. From what I've tested, in the P4310 0 or blank defaults to 1 on row exit, external call to Purchasing MBSFN will keep the original value.
