WS Purges

Hi everybody!!!

Is anyone familiar with WorldSoftware data purges? Do the standard purging processes for GL work for WS? Can I trust data integrity after running these processes? Is there any standard purging processes for tables like F4211 or F4111? Do they work?

There are some purges in JDE, but they tend not to support integrity. They tend to be application specific.

Check out http://www.arctools.com . ARCTOOLS is a purge and archive utility for the AS/400, but even better, we have developed an add on module specific to JDE. This module will purge _with_integrity_ – data from AP and it's corresponding GL data, data from AR and it's GL, data from purchasing and it's GL, etc.

The module was developed in Denver along with folks from JDE GSS, and then 'battle tested' and enhanced at a very large JDE customer site.

To answer your last question – yes, they work!
