This is probably a stupid question, however, I'll ask it anyway. I have a world writer reading the F42005 Sales Commission file. The WW calculates and prints the Commission value as follows:
(sctotl * sccpct) / 100 = DOLL or dollars field 10,3
where sctotl is the Sales Line total
sccpct is the Commission percentage 7,3
The Doll field is then summed by Sales representative and Grand Total.
The individual line printout is correct as well as calculating the summed sales amount X sccpct.
In many cases the total of the Doll as summed on the report by Sales Representative can be off as much as 3 to 4 cents. When adding the total of all Sales Reps to the grand total, the total is off by 2 cents.
I've tried to rectify this by the following:
Doll * 1 = Comm$ 10,2
Same result where the individual Sales Rep total in some cases is off by 2 or 3 cents, same for the Grand Total.
I thought I understood WW but apparently I've missed something.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
