World maintenance$$$ & \"bomb\" program

Has anyone stopped paying maintenance fees & then encountered the annual
"bomb" program, and had to call JDE for a new "secret code" to re-enable
their software? It seems to me, from looking at the contracts, that we
purchased the software, and maintenance is totally separate... Your
thoughts please...

We are still on maintenance but I'm quite sure you can get a new bomb (SPC) code when one expires regardless of your maintenance (or lack of one) contract with them. Have you called and requested a new one yet?
