World A9.1 and v6r1

I’m curious if anyone else has upgraded to A9.1 *AFTER* upgrading to v6r1? That is the path that I chose and I am finding that JDE’s upgrade process is not compatible with v6r1. I am working closely with Oracle support and have had to apply several extra updates/fixes from them because of this. I have already had to start the upgrade process over from scratch once.

I find it hard to believe that I’m the first to do this??? Anyone else have this same issue?

Bob Cagle,

Evidently you are an "early adopter" of v6r1 in the JDE World community.
Please keep us informed on your upgrade to A91

The advise I got from Oracle was to do the A9.1 upgrade BEFORE the v6r1 upgrade because of the observablity issues need for v6r1 that A9.1 takes care of.

Unfortunately, I did not receive the same advice. But with the proper
updates, applied in the correct sequence, the upgrade process is working
on v6r1 now.

But, I would agree - the easiest path, if you have the option - is to
upgrade to A9.1 first, and do the v6r1 OS upgrade after.

Bob
