We just noticed a WO had been created where one of the items in the BOM is Obsolete. Is there anything in the system to prevent this? We are on World A9.2.1.
Our Change Management area manages obsolete items and they automatically alter the BOM to ensure that the item is no longer "effective" to ensure that W/O parts lists will be correct...
They'll also assign a Flash Message so that the part is highlighted on some JDE screens but as far as I know, nothing prevents an obsolete item from appearing on a Work Order parts list...
