Updatine Display Decimals after Go Live

Has anyone gone through the process of changing the Decimal Display to the QTYINV data class (all areas, not just BOM's) after Go Live? I found a document on Oracle Support that discusses this process and how to update the Business Data afterwards, but I wanted to see if anyone else has done this and what are some of the potential issues to be aware of.

Done this some 5 times over the years using our proprietary scripts, mostly remotely to NA customers. No issues at all, quick and easy.
