Seriously, you have provided absolutely no information with which to help you. This message could be because of a network problem, security alias issues, bad INI configuration, or who knows what.
Attaching log files would be useful, for a start. Knowing whether this is a fat client, HTML client, or StandAlone, what version of E1 are you on, what platform are you on ... this would also help.
