UBE errors when submitting to the new Batch Server

Hi everybody,

J D Edwards ERP 8.0_SP22_Q1 on AS400 / DB2

I have installed a new batch server(win 2000+SP4) to the existing architecture which is AS400-V5R2 and database DB2. If the security is enabled on the batch server the services fail.

Porttest is sucessfull without security enabled.

Also, the UBE ends with error if the enterprise server is started without security which is clean.

The error message I get is the following

Can anyone throw some light on this? or has anyone faced the same issue with AS400 & Windows 2000 servers?

Hi,

1. Have you checked the JDE.INI on the Windows box?
2. If you're running with Security Server, the SQL
Server login "JDE" on the Windows box has to have the
same password as the OS/400 "JDE" user on the AS/400 box.
