I have not hit a limit. We regularly process journals with several thousand lines. What is the size of the transaction that promted the post? What happened when you tried to process it?

I think there is a maximum number of lines in a journal in F0911 - 9,999 comes to mind. I can't get to the Data Dictionary, but if you can, look at alias JELN.
