Tracking History on fields other than in F060116

Does anyone know if there is a method within E1 that will allow for tracking other Data Items that are not in the employee master table?

I have had requests for JBCX (F060120); Banking Info (F065016); Tax info (F06017)

We currently have a custom report that has been designed to do this but I would prefer a more solid solution as the report isn't always ran when it should be to capture the information

Why not write a fairly straight forward table trigger that updates either a log or custom table every time the particular table experiences an Add, Change, or Delete? I have not used Table Triggers for many versions now, but when I did, I was able to work around most of the difficulties.
