T Line on SD /OD

Hi

I am creating a line type T on SD but corresponding entry on OD is not created. Can anybody advise.

Am I missing some setups?

Are the Order Activity Rules for OD/T set up correctly...?

SD D 520 Enter Sales Order 620
SD D 620 Sales Journal/Update 999
SD D 999 Complete - Ready to Purge
OD D 220 Enter Purchase Order 280
OD D 280 Print Purchase Order 999
OD D 999 Complete - Ready to Purge

What version of the software are you on, because it should have errored on input saying that

' Status Not in Status Flow '

because you have no rules for SD/T or OT/T....

I don't have access to a system to test this but there are 2 things that make a Direct Ship Line in the Line Type setups.

1. Inventory Interface = 'D'
2. Generate PO = 'Y'

I think you would want to create a new Line Type that had at least one of these checked. You may also want to play with the 'Text Line' option on the Line Type setup.

As mentioned, you should also create the Activity rules for this line type on both Document Types SD/OD.

Let us know what you find.
