I have found a way to change all the system ids if you are you using the same user id. Use W98OWSECE Form Exit Proxy User. You may need a recent ESU to see this feature. We have about 100 different system ids (for 20,000+ users) so we ended up writing a custom app to enter the connection id and reset password or to change connection id and reset password. Note, I did find in HTML/JAS that once a connection id had been cached bad, it would remember until the cache had been cleared.

Jean, try selecting the user record instead of using the row exit to revise
security. Does this allow you to change the password?

That audjrn does have to be setup by a QSECOFR, and some system values have to be set. It's not there automatically. Also, after it has been created, it will change receivers on it's own, but a process needs to be setup to delete old journal receivers.
