What happens is that when the user wants to click on the particular row of the grid the app should take her to the next app. which shows details of row.

But it does not and an error occurs nd says "System may become unstable please debug, error ON Click event.

However when I sign in as the JDE Administrator and try same procedure the Program works perfectly. It itherefore not a security or app problem??? Have heard it may be some kind of lock against a particular user AS when I created a new userID for her it all worked fine????

Any Ideas

Error is commin and occurs when you close Event Rule Debugger using Task
Manager.

Solution is Close JD Edwards,Login again and run the app.I am sure you will
not have any errors.I too faced similar problem.

Did this user have any user overrides or custom grid formats for the app? Sometimes these cause apps to fall over.

Hey Choggy

Yes, in fact there was a user override for the user for the particular app that was causing the error. I was thinking of deleting it but thought that this could not be the problem.?

I will have a look at that?

Thanks

I agree with Chris. I've seen User Overrides create all kinds of strange problems. What makes me suspicious is that the problem is tied to a specific User ID. I'd try deleting the User Overrides (even though the users hate that).
