SP 19.1 printing bugs

Hi guys!

Did any of you had any trouble after installing SP 19.1 + SP 19.1_I1?
After upgrading from B7332 SP 16.1 to SP 19.1_I1 all my reports designs that
were on 'Arial' were changed to 'Arial Bold'!
Any tips? (apart from getting back to SP 16.1)

Thanks, Sebastian Sajaroff (JDELIST)

I haven't seen any PRINTING issues, though there is other
"goofy stuff" that I am encountering.

Right now, I'm treating them all a coincidences, rather
than problems caused by the SP.

Oops - help/about says I'm on 7333, _not_ 7332 as you are...

Sebastian:
We just installed SP19.1 and not problems as the describe by you.
We are running OW Xe Base, SQL Server 2000 on Win@K AdvServer.

Sebastian,

Not sure if this will address your problem but check out P98980 - Font Override by Language (F98980). This controls screen fonts more than the UBE fonts but things may have changed at the 19.1 level from my SP (15.1).

Regards,

The P98980 continues to only matter for UBEs if you are running a double-byte codepage. (verified with an internal source).

Are the reports really in Arial Bold, or is it that RDA is not showing you Arial when you go into RDA? Several others on the list have seen that before - it turns out if you manually type "Arial" in the font dialog, it will take it. I believe the solution was to update the Arial font (download from http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fontpack/default.htm, uninstall your current Arial, install the current MS Arial - works best if all aps are closed when you update this widely-used font.).

Does this sound familiar, anyone?
