Share Server Maps

I am adding a second application server. I already have a "JDEAPP1" app server and I am going to add JDEAPP2. Can I share the APPLIB server map I created when I added the first app server?

Sharing is not a problem on the same platform. The only problem is if your app servers cross platorms. (i.e. An AS400 cannot share a servermap with NT.)

Exactly

only if you have a different "type" of server do you need a different server map. All you need to do is to add a new Logic Datasource, and identify the new server in Machine Identification - point it to the same datasource, and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the responses. That is what I had figured as well. I set up my new application server, which is an NT box, similar to my first application server, and I pointed both the server maps, JDEAPP1 - B733x Server Map and JDEAPP2 - B733x Server Map to the APPLIB library on my enterprise server. Seems to be working just fine.
