Seperate IP address for Echo2 replication

All,
Are all of you using a separate IP address for E2 replication or are you using the same IP address for JDE interface. Just curious because we were using the same interface and just recently started using a separate IP address. Not sure if you had come across any issues during roll-over as a result of this set-up.
