Sales O/E dates

When you enter a sales order, header first, and enter a date into the Requested field, this date is copied into all dates of the detail line even if you entered different dates in the scheduled ship, scheduled pick, promised ship and customer request date fields.

Can anyone tell me why this happens? Is there a PO that controls the update of the detail line?

There are fields set in the header that you can "push" their value into the
detail through a business function. If you go into Sales Order header and
look towards the bottom of the row exit... it will show Define (which allows
you to define the fields that you want to push to the detail) and Populate
(if you want to manually populate or override the values in the detail with
the header values)... on initial entry of the lines... it will use the
default from the header. thanks, Bobby

When you are in the sales order header screen , take form exit called Define,
listed here are all fields which default from header to detail, which you can
edit to suit your needs
