RES: Submitting UBE from WPY7333

Paul,

I have seen this before. We had the same problem for "J" environments. The
OCMs for F986110 are actually wrong. They should point to YOURSERVER - B7333
Server Map. That's where the jobs are stored. You can confirm that using UTB
or simply SQL. Try it out and let us know. Change the mapping for both,
System and Server-Map OCM-tables.
Remains to explain: why does it work for your PY7333 environment with a
wrong setting? Don't know, have to ask JDE.

Let us know, Gerd

Assunto: Submitting UBE from WPY7333

Hi,
I have a problem that whenever i submit a batch to the Enterprise Server
from a citrix client logged on to WPY7333, i am not able to see the
submitted jobs (my jobs or even other people jobs as well) on Citrix Client
from the Exit bar and even from the USER---options menu in OneWorld
explorer, but the UBE will print fine (if print immediate is selected).
Whereas if you do that from a FAT client logged on to Py7333, everything is
fine. You are able to see your job and other people's jobs as well. I have
checked the OCM mapping for F986110 (Job control Status master) and it's
pointing to the same place for both the PY7333 and the Wpy7333 (System -
B7333)...it's weird why i'm not able to see the submitted jobs when logged
on to WPY7333, i would appreciate anybody's help regarding this issue.

Thanks alot
Paul

Hi Gerd,
Just before you answered my inquiry, a JDEList consultant informed me that i have to add an OCM mapping for business function B9861101 for WPY7333 Enviromnent to point LOCAL. After i did that it worked fine.
and still the F986110 are pointing to System - B7333 for all environments.
Regards and thanks alot really for your reply
Paul
