Reports exported to CSV

Hi,

We hv many reports which need to print comparisons of years data, for Jan - Dec. Hence one report could consist of 12 x 2 = 24 columns just for the figure fields alone, not to mention the other miscellaneous fields. Then we had these reports all formatted to export to csv (alignment works to csv, pdf would be all overlapping) since we cant squeeze everything into a single page. Now user complains abt the csv, when they have the report printed out, the page headers etc are only appearing on the first page. These reports could go on for 100 pages, and the headings are only on the first page.

Does anyone have any clue how can i get these headings printed at the top of every page of the csv? Taking this opportunity to wish everyone a happy new year 2005 and thanks in advance.

You may use Excel's Page Setup, go to the Sheet tab, click inside the "Rows to repeat at top", and select the first couple of rows you want to header-ize.
Happy New Year to you, too!

Hello,
Try this, I think it works.
Create a level break header on the highest level, and then print all the variables that are in the page header. Go to properties, in the advanced section, select Re-Print at Page breaks.
Bye
Janga

Hi Janga,

Thanks for your advice. This wont work when the report is exported to CSV but it would if we are looking at the pdf.
Thanks all the same.
