process wise consumption

My final product is made out of several different raw material items. As the process progresses, the raw materials are consumed which decreases my raw material inventory in reality. What do I need to do to get such a process working in JDE?

You should try to setup your components as co/by product on your BOM. This has some limitations though. But if your finished product results in new components, you should get far by using co/by product setup.

Hi Nirav

Are you using individual workcentres for each process that consumes raw materials? If so, you can set these up as pay points and use issue type 'U' on your bill. During the process you can now backflush your raw materials at each process step.
