Hello there

Is it true that the printer share name of the printer should be less than 10 character long to be able to print immediate?.

Is anyone has more than 10 digit character for the share name and using print immediate?

We are on 9.1

We had similar issues with our printing as well. How long is your printer name (FQDN)? If it is longer than 30 characters, you will have this issue. Oracle had to make a change to business function B986162A.C. The change is to increate the array size for "szRemoteHost" to 41.

After this change, our problem got resolved.

I tried to make my share name ten digit short and it works.
but i am sure i have to do the way you increase the lenght as we can not make short name of our 100+ printers.

I will increase the size to 100 in the business function you have mentioned and will test.
