Post Year-end Update Payroll Issues

We are using Xe and have applied the ESU_JD20668 and are currently running
Vertex 2.5.2. Since applying this ESU we have been having problems with the
FICA and Medicare being calculated incorrectly on a few of our employees.
It does not happen on every person just a few. Has anyone else experienced
this problem?

Check the F0701730 table. It should contain 363 records. If it does not, you should redo the special instructions for SAR # 6490119. There is a UBE R0701730 that should update this table with the correct number of records. If it is not working, you will need to contact GSS. They should be able to provide a copy of the table if all else fails.

Note: Vertex 2.5 should be installed prior to running.

Instructions:

In Batch Versions (Fast Path = BV) find Batch Application
R0701730.
Find Version XJDE0001.
Make sure the processing option is set to 1 to delete
the
records from the table first.
Run the UBE.
This UBE will create a PDF file. At the bottom will be
a record count. If Vertex 2.4.91 is installed, your
total should be 363 records updated. Otherwise, if
Vertex 2.5.0 is installed, your total should be 364
records updated.

Have you applied JD21495? That is the latest pre-req ESU for 2.5.2. Saw one other posting on the Quest list where a user had a similar problem.
