Plant & Equipment Maintenance

Does anyone have experience with this module, know of any gotcha's, or know of a good place too start? Thanks.

I have worked with it some... actually that module is my next assignment...
the only gotcha I have found so far is the Metering Inquiry screen. You
actually enter the data into the grid on the first screen and not double
clicking and going into the second screen unless you are truly doing a new
meter or replacing an old one and need to reset the number. If you have

Kevin,
Plant and equipment is based on fixed assets. P&E
allows you to track changes and schedule maintenance
based on predefined criteria. As time, miles, hours
are entered against the items, work orders are
generated to facilitate maintenance procedures and
assits in controlling the types of maintenance (daily,
weekly, monthly as examples) to be performed.

Jeff,

You've probably got your answer by now - I'm a little late in my response,
but was just catching up on JDEList.

Anyway, there is no Fixed Assets Z file in World, but just so you know,
there is in OneWorld. We're just finishing up our Fixed Assets project and
wrote our own conversion program to populate the F1201 and F1202 tables.
