Payroll Journal Entries Summary VS Detail

We are looking into posting payroll journal entries in detail instead of summary, anybody have any advice of why not post in detail?

Well, obviously if you post in detail you are putting more records into
the F0911 file. If you are okay with that situation, then it is
something you may want to do. But the F0911 is usually pretty big to
start with, and putting more records into it is often not a desired
action.

We chose not to post in detail, not so much because of F0911 size considerations, but because we hold employee rate information pretty close to the vest. We allow Cost Center managers to see F0911 detail, including the summarized T2s. But only Accounting users have access to the transaction detail (F0618/P050999). We're on XE, but I assume the principle is similar in World.
