Hi list,

Maybe somebody can help me with the following issue. I created a batch via P0911Z1. Everything looks OK, the report shows no errors. So I want to post the batch to the GL. I go to 7. JE Review, type in the batch# and the batch pops up. However, then I type in a 1 next to it so I can get to the details, but all I get is a message 0002 Record Invalid.

Any ideas what could be going on?

Are you on the G0911 menu when you talk about going to option 7?? I am
wondering if there are no records in the batch (batch header, but no batch
detail in F0911). If so, would indicate a problem in processing the batch
journal entries menu option, would be my reaction.

Thanks John. What you suggested was helpful. It turned out the doc number I was trying to upload was already existing in F0911? Why that didn't show up as an error, I have no clue!!

I would report that to JDE Support. Sounds like a bug to me. Should have
told you that as an error, in my mind.
