Order Level Adjustments

Our company uses a pricing structure where we adjust the sales price based on the size of the entire order. For example, we may charge $50 per case but lower the price is $48 per case if the customer order 40,000 pounds (truckload pricing). The customer may order more than one product and the combined weight of the order will result in the lower price. We would like the price reduction to apply to the specific line either though the deduction is based on the weight of the entire order. We can't figure how to get the price adjustment entered to allow us to do this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Unfortunately, Order Level Adjustments cannot be applied to individual lines as they are written as a seperate line on the order.

You could achieve the same result using Basket Level Adjustments with ALL Items having the same Basket Group across the Branch. These adjustments can be applied to each order line as a discount/deduction/addition. This of course precludes you from using these basket groups for anything else (as an Item/Branch record can only belong to 1 Basket Group).
