Off Topic - Oracle ODBC Config

OK, I know this isn't JDE related - but some of you must know the short of
the answer.

I have a client that doesn't use JDE (oh my gosh)... but does use an old
Oracle 7.x database on VMS/Alpha...

This client would like me to configure ODBC on the machine - so they can hit
the database with other tools (Access, excel, Brio....)...

It has been so long since I have configured either the Client or the
Server-side of an ODBC connection for Oracle 7.x & VMS - I am hesitant to
start...

Suggestions? I don't want to call Oracle, the cost far to many dollars...
and the client is off contract, trying to retire the hardware... The goal
is to, eventually, move all the data to SQL or DB2...
