New to 8.10

This may seem like a silly question, but I'm having trouble with Task Views and Task ID's in 8.10. I've always used Xe with menus....does anyone have any manuals or paperwork on how to set these up? I can set up a Task ID, and I can set up a Task View....but how do you link them and view them like you would a menu?

Great white papers on the connection website. Do a search for "task views". There's a nice one that is all about working with, creating, deleting, securing, fine-cut, etc..
