Dear List members,
Our client imports material from all around the world. In case a particular material comes from US, its procurement lead time is 90 days, if the same material is procured from Middle-East, its lead time is 30 days.
While running MRP [in 8.10], the system uses the field, Leadtime Level[LTLV] for offsetting the start date for the PO to be raised.
[In P43090, Supplier-Item Relationships, we do enter the Average Leadtime [ALTD]which is supplier-item specific.]
Now, the client wants that the system should consider say the longer leadtime normally [as it is cheaper] and then should use the shorter one in case of shortage of material to fulfill the current [urgent] requirement.
Any thoughts on how to achieve this in 8.10??
