Meter reading Doubled.

Dear all,

I have a problem in meter reading.

when the users capturing meter reading for any asset the current meter reading shows more than the double amount.

Last year meter reading captured on every asset
is visible as doubled now.

The application P12120 is called from Service order P48201
in CSMS.


In f0911 the AU has like this.


Year 2004 entry

For the year 2004 and 2005

It is clear that the entries in 2004 are summed up
and brought as cumulative fig in 2005.

The entries in 2004 are perfect.
The entries in 2005 are perfect.
The entries spreaded in 2004 and 2005 are only problem.

Any setups or closing the fixed asset ledger for the financial year affected this.

Appox 5000 vehicles has this problem.

Can someone throw some light this please.

Since when is this noticed? Was Asset Account Balance Close UBE R12825 run for these equipment?

It was run in March 2005.

It was noticed at that time only.

I have a doubt?
Is it anything to do with Ledger setup (AU).
if so, What should be the setup of AU ledger.

Hav eyou gone live on this module in 2004?
I have a strange feeling. In the beginning of the 2005 users must not have seen the last year's closing balance and hence they must have entered the balances again. This might explain the double amounts this year.
