media object text use new font

Now that I have "mastered" manipulating fonts in windows to get logos and signatures into pdf output - a variation comes along. We have a template that is a simple text attachment - media object. When inside THAT editor, I do not have access to the windows fonts on my PC that contain the signatures. It seems I only have what is under C:\B7\System\Resource\font directory. Those are older type 1 fonts.

Does anyone know how I can get my ttf fonts into that directory or change a setting to use my windows ttf fonts instead? Any workarounds or suggestions are welcome.
