JDE PO question

I have created a J line type PO (220-230) and I have printed it (230-280) When does it get closed -last status 999- I do not receive it.When and how does it get closed. I voucher matched it and it still does not go to 999. I thought voucher matching and posting would get it to 999 Can someone tell me the process to close it. I am new to Purchase orders

Check the Activity rules to see if the status 999 is defined for PO and J line type.
