Items in transit

I have a challenge with JDE World, Items in transit is configured in such a way "As soon trucks leave wearhouse , Item quantity is updated in our showroom" which is causing lot of inventory variances, give wrong information about available quantity, Is there a way to push this item in to transit & when showroom receive they need to confirm & quantity gets update thereon...

You might look at Receipt Routing to allow the initial receipt to load to Quantity in Transit and then upon arrival the products could be received in the actual quantity into Quantity on Hand. You can decide to include the Quantity in Transit in the Available calculation in the Branch Plant Constants. Also in the setup you detemine at which step to take possession of the Inventory.
