Item Category Code Global Update??

When I update Item Master category code, say SRP4, there are reports available to update the item branch, like R41803 but how do I update F4211 SRP4 for all the sales records against this item, Isn't there a standard way of doing this?

Hi There! No standard way i know of, sorry.
These cat codes can have been overridden on sales order lines so therefore they are not updated by standard programs when you update item/branch records.

Is this something you will be doing often?

If it is then yes, a custom UBE would be ideal.

If it's a one off then what I have done in the past is perform an SQL, because the change in item setup only meant there were a couple of sales orders below an invoiced status.
