Installing Update 7 during the day????

Hi All,

We are a Co-Ex client and we are looking at installing Update 7 during the day. Will this cause a problem with our World users? We will lock down the test (prototype) environment on the World side so no one signs in. Also will the 400 become slow and interfere with daily processing for the World users?

We have installed ESU's druing the day to our DV and PY environments. We ensure that no users are logged on to those environements, including developers. An update might be large, but could be feasible.

Hello, Stephanie,
I haven't understood what you want. ASU is a huge Software Update. In order
to use that you have to:
1. Apply ASU - few hours (No affect to users at all)
2. Build a package - 10-20 hours (Might be some performance problem when
server part is building, but you can start the build at night or in a
weekend)
3. Deploy the package - 10 min (users can't run reports in this time)

So, I didn't get where the problem is. Sorry, can't answer your question
about coexistence.
