INSTALLING SP14.1

We are installing SP14.1 tomorrow (Saturday), I will let everybody know how it goes. I'm crossing my fingers.

After installing 13.3 and having to back it off, I hope this one goes on easier. If you are wondering why we backed it off, it is because we were one of the companies the found out there was DLL's missing from 13.3. There is now a seperate download for the sp13.3 to fix the problem. But we need to to fix a lot of memory (invalid overwrite and read) errors and where hoping this fixes it.

How did you discover that there were missing DLL's? I loaded 13.3 a month ago
and haven't seen any problems so far.

After I applied the Sp and tried to login I got an error message saying =
a DLL was missing, when I called Support the tech mailed me the DLL and =
I then could log on. after I deployed it I was getting all kinds of =
BSFN error messages and I decided to roll it back to 11_2. A couple of =
days later I got an email from the Tech who informed we there was a =
13.3_DLL download to fix the 5 missing DLL's.

The fix is dated 12/27 and u can download it from the garden. Now one =
note is that i download my SP's so it might be connected to people that =
download as opposed to ones that order the CD.

How is 13.3 running for you now and what is your platform AS400??? We are
thinking about installing SP14 and I have asked if anybody sees any
benefits in installing the newer SP's vs installing 11.3. No one has
replied back about the new ESU enhancements and benefits, and that if it
makes any difference, I have received just that SP11.3 is very stable, but
nothing on the later SP's like 13.3. Any feedback would be great.
Thanks,

The big reason im jumping from 11_2 to 14_1 is that the fix for the =
(invalid overwrite) but also im installing the Enhancement ESU in 1 or =
2 weeks, then the 2 big Pre-Req ESU's. and from what the documentation =
said on the enhancement is you need at least SP13. i dont think 14 has =
been out long enough for anybody to really make a call good or bad yet.
