In OneWorld, how to override printer selection for all UBE/batch version submitted by a user

In EnterpriseOne/OneWorld, how to override the printer selection for a user? Submit button should default to Report Output Destinaion: On Screen.

I'll assume your user wants to run all UBEs locally, on a FAT CLIENT

You need to add (and activate) an OCM entry - something like:

If you are looking to assign a default printer for a given report or reports, you need to set it up in P98616.

Just remember that when you upgrade to a web only release (8.11 and above) that functionality will go away. We are looking at moving to a new release and have a lot of jobs that are run locally like that. It is a painful process to move the users off of it. Just hope you are aware of the upgrade headache you are creating for yourself.

I just wanted to mention that we have a piece of commercial software to automatically open PDF's on Web Clients, just like it used to work with "On Screen" in the old Fat Client. It's called "Total Rapport" and you can find it on our WEB site.

So most of that pain can be avoided ;-)
