E9.2 Retrieve Printer from Printer selecting when submitting UBE

Hello,

We're on 9.2 tools release 9.2.5.3: we need to retrieve inside a UBE the printer selected by a User from 'Change Printer' window when submitting this job as need to pass to a next job.

We could not find a business function returning this value, any guidance is much appreciated.

Hi Andre,

I never tested it myself but I can recall in the past there was a custom BSFN named B5500201 containing GetCurrentUbeParameters which is supposed to return szPrinter parameter as well.

I think this BSFN is still available for download from JDElist post named "Retrieve Current Server JobNumber".

Retrieve Current Server JobNumber

For everybody looking for that (I was !), it will be possible for a batch to retrieve its own JobNumber without searching it hazardously in F986110... Indeed, looking in F986110 doesn't work if the report was launched by another report (in the same process ID), because of "ReportInterConnect"...
