Illegal use of Software

I received an email (unsolicited spam) making a savage accusation against Andy Klee without providing substantation. My response and and the original email I received are copied below.

Fellow listers, who and what is "Software Research Centre" ??


My response follows:

Funny that you don't assign a name to your e-mail. Funny that you provide no substantiation. Even funnier is that you make a claim then turn around and "...suggest a thorough research of this matter". Funnier still, I have no recollection of ever having dealt with your organisation so how and where did you get my e-mail address? No guts no glory boyo - put up, shut up, or, take the consequences.

I will not "..push.." any message of this type anywhere other than to alert others of your faceless and cowardly attack.

I sincerely hope you have very sound and very solid proof to support your
allegations. If you don't then I will join in and help in your crucifixion.
In my country we have pretty good defamation/slander/ libel laws. Seems you may be defaming Andrew Klee and as I am the recipient here in Australia you could be in some quite serious "[censored]" under Australian law..

and President of JDEtips has been using an illegal unlicensed copy of One World on all of his business systems and in the training of certain JDE clients. I received the same e-mail. So I forwarded it to Andy, asking him what was up. His response.
"Disgruntled, fired employee."

Enough said. I hope that employee finds himself on the losing end of a slander suit.

Needless to say the jerk did not even have the guts to put his name to it.
Don't surprise me.

I received that same e-mail 3 times yesterday; deleted it each time.

Did your reply go through? My experience is that a reply to a spam
message will just bounce.

Do you subscribe to Andy's JDETips newsletter? I do and I assume that's
where this individual was able to retrieve my e-mail from.

Maybe a disgruntled ex-employee???
