HTML timeout...

I have a problem with the timeout on our JAS servers... on the SAW user lis=
t screen, both say 60 minutes.
However, they both seem to log users out after just 30 minutes of inactivit=
y. Is there a setting somewhere
other than the jas.ini that I need to change? I know there was a setting w=
ithin WebSphere that had
to be changed with WS3.5, but I don't see it in WS4.

Hi Scotti,

You have a timeout in Websphere and a timeout in JAS.ini

The timeout in WAS40 is in Websphere Admin\Nodes\servername\Application Servers\app\Services\Session Manager Service\Edit Properties\Advanced\Set Timeout


Your jas.ini timeout should be 2x your WAS timeout.

If you are using IIS the timeout is on the Properties/Website Tab
